Meeting recap from 11/122/16

Here is a brief recap from the weekly Rotary meeting from November 22: 
  • Don't forget about the Annual Christmas Dinner & Auction, which is scheduled for Tuesday, December 6. The event will begin with a social hour at 6pm. The event will be held at the Diplomat West in Elmhurst once again this year. Event information is available on a flyer on our website. 
  • Donation items can be brought to the Villa Park Public Library. Please see Sandy Hill or Kandice Krettler. Please remember to fill out your donation form, which can also be found on our website.
  • Guest Roy Fonda shared information about the Glen Ellyn club's Annual Citrus Sale. The flyer and order form are also available on our club's website.
  • The Jackson Middle School orchestra is interested in performing for our club at an upcoming meeting. A few dates were thrown out and December 20 was decided upon as a possibility. Tony Palmisano will confirm and let the club know next week.
  • The next board meeting will be on Thursday, December 1. The meeting will begin at 5:30pm at Roundheads in Lombard.
  • Rotarians present at today's meeting passed the hat for York Township collection.
  • Happy news was shared and the weekly raffle was held.
